Overcoming obstacles with Optimism

Last week I wrote about the new ways I define communication since acquiring porospagnosia.  Thursday I will continue the conversation with how valuable eye contact has become with face blindness.  In preparation of that post, I am focusing my Weekly Serving of Optimism on quotes regarding eye contact:

“Certainly, being aware of what your own body language is — not showing intimidation, making eye contact, leaning forward — shows that you’re interested and want to say something.”
~ Richard Frankel

Thank you C. Swart and Morgue File for the use of this photo

“The most important things in those first few seconds are, basically, a firm handshake and a smile, good eye contact and really paying attention.”
~ Pat Schaumann

  1. That quote by Pat is very true.

  2. And of them all — really paying attention is the MOST.

  3. Amazing, simply awesome… 🙂

Thanks for taking time to share your thoughts
